Established in 2003, Samcor is one of New Zealands newest players in the freight forwarding and customs brokerage industry.

My personal involvement in this industry dates back to 1985 where I was a customs officer from 1985 -1995, undertaking all facets of customs roles from the clerical to passenger processing to border protection to customs inspections. In 1995 I grew an interest in freight forwarding and was employed by Air Express Intl as a customs entry writer. 1996 I was offered a senior position with Meadows Express in their Customs Section undertaking the contract for all FedEx Customs Clearances. In 1997-2003 FedEx Employed me to manage their National Operations division which included relationships with FedEx offices throughout Asia Pacific. Complete with the knowledge of Customs, Freight Forwarding, International Express, Line Hauling and Warehousing, I branched out on my own to form, what is known today as "Samcor Customs Consultants"

Samcor has grown since 2003 and still maintains itself as being a privately owned company. We pride ourselves on our culture, professionalism and service. We continue to move forward by offering the most up to date software and technology to meet the requirements that our customers expect.
